Raccoon loose inside the Hampton Inn

Jeff

Stop Staring!!!!!
12:13 AM Police dispatched for a loose Raccoon in the Hampton in. Lady at the desk is hysterical. Running around chasing it with a broom.

Police on the way.

12:15 2 officers out. Suspect is cornered in a meeting room. Failing to show proper ID.

12:17 Officers advising he is at the podium now in the meeting room. Preparing to make a speech I guess.

12:18 Officers requesting DNR be called. Subject has a mask and appears to be armed. Going by the name of ROCKY.

12:21 Dispatch advises DNR will not come out. Officer on the scene asks if DNR offered any advice. Dispatch recommends an exterminator. Another officer chimes in and suggests an orange.

12:22 I wonder what the suspected raccoons immigration status is. Dispatch confirms DNR or Animal Control will not respond. Officers requests dispatch to remind them that there are hundreds of people in the hotel.

12:26 Dispatch now advising DNR Truck 6 will be responding out of Ridge. Officers advise they have the suspect cornered and enclosed in a meeting room. Officers now clearing the scene. Advised Desk Clerk to leave the critter in there till DNR arrives.

12:36 Truck 6 is En-Route from Ridge. One officer advises he will wait on the scene for them. Advises suspect is barricaded in the room now.

12:55 Officers on the scene advises Animal Control is on the scene. Raccoon is on the scene. What a scene.

The suspect kept saying "don't taze me, bro!"

It was either that, or "what'd I did!?"

My "raccoon speak" is a little rusty.
