It's damp, chilly and raining like hell out. Though we need the rain, I feel bad for all the people that had outdoor plans for the weekend. One friend has a daughter and son in law in town with four dogs (added to her three!) and twenty people coming for a party. She has a gorgeous back deck that is awesome for gatherings but I'm afraid even the dogs won't want to go out in this rain!
My husband is coming home tomorrow night after being overseas for 1 1/2 years so I guess I have no excuse to not clean and straighten up the house. I mean, I'd rather be outside working in the yard...but it will be good to have him home home under our roof again.

I had planned on going out of town for the weekend. Maybe Charlottesville, but this weather put that on the back burner.

I had no plans, other than working in the garage. But I may take a few days off from projects. Just finished making some mac salad and deviled eggs.

We have a "Clean Out the Freezers" fish fry planned for tomorrow. My nephew is hosting, which is very handy as he has a garage. We're just going to open the door and fire up the Bayou Classic deep fryer.

I did some laundry, put it away, cleaned a bathroom & went to the grocery store. That's about all I am doing, too.
