Random Recreational Violence

I took 2 sick twist, Dale Hausner and Samuel John Dieteman, to come up with that term to describe the evil they perpetrated on the people in and around Phoenix.
Police say they are certain they have the right men in custody. But Friday, as information about the suspects' lives began to emerge, Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris said he still couldn't answer what everybody really wants to know: Why someone would do such terrible things.
"Unfortunately," Harris said, "some people get personal enjoyment out of being evil."
And evil it is. What is really disturbing is the term that one of the two suspects used to describe his reason for doing the shootings-"random recreational violence."
Incidentally, the Baseline Killer is still out there, so let's continue to pray for the people in and around Phoenix.

...the death penalty today?

Nope. I say speed up the process. The scumbags who are found guilty each get one appeal, which must be ruled on within a year. If still guilty...take 'em out back and give them the choice between the noose or a bullet.

I say put a noose around their necks, tie their hands and have the victims families take shots at them with their own weapons. Occassionally apply blood transfusion to keep them alive longer and maximize the pain...

Or just shoot them both in the head and move on... :jameo:

I've always stated I am for the death penalty, the few times it's come up. I'm frustrated with how they implement it. It takes way too long, and costs us taxpayers way too much to keep these monsters alive as they wait to be executed.

This has been my feeling for may years now.

Conviction 6 months later an automaytic appeal. when they go through the door out of the courtroom they enter the death chamber. However my choice of a form of death would be from a "hot" dose of heroin.

Many people overdose on heroin and return time and again to overdose again.
There is no way one can argue that heroin overdose is cruel and unusual punishment when so many keep trying it voluntarily. In fact if the needle were placed in their cell , many of them would inject themselves.
