Rare robbery case brings cries of racism

"The Rev. Amos Brown, head of the San Francisco chapter of the NAACP and pastor at Hughes' church, "

Sounds like the pastor needed to council his flock better.

"Hughes' mother, San Francisco schoolteacher Judy Hughes, said she believes the group didn't intend to rob the family, just buy marijuana. She called the case against her son a "legal lynching." "

And I guess she condones the purchase of marijuana. Hope the school board takes notice.

And neither the mother or the pastor show any concern that the three men beat someone so badly that he has severe brain damage.

"But he's such a GOOD boy." Puh-lease. They broke into this guy's house, robbed him, then brutally beat his stepson and left him permanently brain-damaged and unable to even feed himself anymore. They all got what they deserved. :yay:

from the article said:
However, in one notable case in Southern California in 1999, a man who robbed a family at gunpoint in their home was convicted of murder because a police officer pursuing him in a car chase slammed into another driver in an intersection, killing her.
Interesting that they didn't give the race of the person convicted here. Would kind of debunk the racism theory if it was a white robber.

This could be a regrettable utterance:
He added: "Race has nothing to do with it other than this was a gang of black people who thought they were going to beat up this white family."

If he had killed all three then, how does the saying go? "Dead men tell no tales." I like the legal provision that this case falls under, nice little "catch all".

You missed the pertinent part of that:

They don't care. Marijuana is not seen as "really" illegal there.
The robbery victim had the pot legally (I thought that went away ), and these guys were there demanding pot (among other things).

Kind of makes you wonder if the legal pot was being used normally in other than legal ways......

I wonder if the mother also makes all of her purchases using a baseball bat?

Shooting for the death penalty would be a waste of time. california has over 650 people waiting in line now for execution. Most will die of natural causes long before their turn comes.

Homeowner only made two mistakes.

Didn't kill all three and should have removed all evidence.

Hmm ...........

"This man had no business killing these boys," Brown said. "They were shot in the back. They had fled."

Shot While Trying to Escape ............ :lamo:

So I guess the Pastor figures that regardless if they beat someone up or maybe even murder someone, as long as they are fleeing than they get a pass.

I personally am tired on black "community leaders" making excuses for black criminals. If you commit a crime and are than told you will pay for that crime these are the consequences.

2 people died during the commission of a felony. Why shouldn't the surviving thug pay...
