just brought me her dinner dish. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow night.
"Ya know Mom, while you've been at work all day, and Dad's been farting around the house and playin' with the garden hose, I'm just sorta kinda gettin' a little, you know...hungry?"
No, I had to request it. I said "bring me your dinner dish" three times. She saw that I had the yogurt out to put on it, dropped the frisbee next to it and brought it to me. The previous owners had it in the paperwork that she could do that, she just never would for me. We brought her dishes upstairs after the flooding downstairs, so it's MUCH easier for her now. And Geek, she didn't pick up the full water bowl, thank Gawd. She also gets the Sunday paper from the end of the driveway. Nothing better than an already trained dog, IMO.
Dang, she's smart! It usually takes me a lot more than three reminders...
Ah, but wait 'til she sees what DR did by filling the pool today. Guessing she's never been in a pool. That should be fun, I'm sure she's gonna love it.
I want that dog. She is too freaking cute.
She is weird about the water, for being half lab. We took her to Myrtle Point one day (it was cold) and she was afraid of the waves and wanted NOTHING to do with the water. She isn't interested in the pool at all. My BFF lives in Piney Point on the river, so I'm going to take her down to her beach, play frisbee with her and "accidently" throw the frisbee in the water and see if she'll go out and get it. Weird for a half lab. She's got quite a lot of "little" quirks we are discovering. We've only had her since October and she's 8, so she's set in her ways, I guess.
Let me know when you are in the neighborhood Maybe we can meet with my lab, she loves other dogs and the water or just stop in and say

I didn't know she was 8, I was guessing a lot younger (but not a pup). So yeah, her position on water may well be established. You may have to go get the frisbee yourself!
Looking forward to the pics.
. I don't know if Pitt's like the water or not.
I love Rassie stories
