Rats!

My son brought home a male rat that we were terrified of. Well, him being irresponsible, he would forget to feed him. Next thing I know I am feeding it and then scratching him on the noggin. Anyway, my son announces that the rats "wife and daughters" are homeless and need to live with us also. Anyway, I like them. The male Willard, wich I pronounce in french so he sounds "classy" Veeyard, his wife wilma and daughters, willa, snowflake and special-ed, who almost died and is a bit slow, have become important to me. They do make great pets. You do have to handle them from the time they are little and give them things to do. They do not know they are rats, only that they like being peted and fed and talked to. I wish there was a small animal board here. Or pet vermin board.

Seems to me that Rats act alot like little lap dogs, they want to hang out and chill with you. I saw some tailess rats the other day, have you ever seen them?

I haven't seen the tailess, but I have seen the hairless and they have jumbo ones at the pet store in Prince Frederick. I have the big male rat that has a sore on his neck. luckily we were able to put medicine on it and he is back to normal, eating and showing off to his girlfriend or as my son refers to her, his wife.

yeah yeah
Rats are awesome!

We have 4 sisters. They are the best! And we had 3 others that just passed away before we got these 4. :) They can be like "lap animals" if you handle them and get to know them good enough!

Yay! More rat people!

My son brought home a mouse from school. He told me they needed a place to go. Soon we had 9 more. :faint: However he decided to take all of them to NC to visit his father. They all got out of the cage and now live somewhere in Rockingham! :lmao:
