I would assume you could get them at the grocery store butcher if you asked for them. WAY back in the day I use to get chicken necks and backs along with hearts and gizzards. The past couple weeks we've been feeding organic bison, spinach, green beans, a little pumpkin, yogurt and powedered probiotic. I think we've finally found something that's suiting the pooch well.

Are they any sources in Southern Maryland, Butcher, etc. where one can get beef organs, tripe and the like??

I got my beef organs from Nicks of Clinton, and Nicks of Calvert. They also got me a box of marrow bones for a good price! :yay: You can also find chicken organs there also!

for tripe I would look at going to the pet food store up off of rt 301 before you get into Upper Marlboro. Fresh Pet.... its where the Foodlion and McDonalds is located.

have you thought about Bravo? or do you just do the RAW on your own?

We tried Bravo rabbit. It has pork in it. Didn't sit well with the pooch. Do you feed raw at all? I think what we're doing is pretty good but I am concerned about proper nutrition.

I did but now I just supplement with raw chicken and turkey. The hardest thing is when doing RAW on your own is making sure you have the right bone to meat ratio and that you are giving the correct supplements. For me I still feed a good part of kibble so I knew they were getting the Vit/min they needed.

is the Buffalo in patties? and is it a pre done raw for ya? if so most have the supplements in it alread.. Bravo does not and thats why its a little cheaper to feed. Most who feed bravo may feed kibble also. I just cant feed 4 large dogs pre done raw... and one has allergies also!

When I fed raw here is where I got my tripe and organs. When they arrived they were still frozen and had no problem with the product at all. Beware of the green tripe though, peeuuuuuwww :geek:get the smaller packages, it is a lot easier to cut and store.

No I go actual grocery shopping for her. She gets the people ground bison from the grocery store. The lady at Clippers has some meat tubes of bison and rabbit on order for me.
