Anyone know the best site to order some RDRAM? Currently have 512 installed and want to upgrade to 1G. Looking for P1066 184 pin 2 x 512's or 4 x 256 533mhz FSB.

Crucial will actually scan your computer, tell you how many banks you have empty.. what memory is compatible, the max amount your system can take etc.. etc..

:yay: :yay:

And their prices are HARD to beat.. probably cheaper out there, but you aren't going to get the service or quality.

I have Crucial in my Pentium3, never had any problems.

Kingston and Infineon are also good brands. Anyone else that is cheaper is probably not worth it.

RDRAM, I'm sorry to hear that. Rambus is really charging an arm and a leg for that proprietary stuff.

From CRUCIAL.com

Rambus memory is installed in pairs.
All the slots in a Rambus-based motherboard must be filled, either with a RIMM or with a CRIMM (continuity RIMM) placeholder.
The pair of modules in the upgrade should replace either a pair of CRIMMs or two existing lower-density RIMMs.
WARNING! The design of RDRAM modules causes them to operate at hot temperatures, so be careful not to burn your fingertips if you are removing RIMMs
Why buy Rambus at Crucial?
Crucial is the only memory upgrade supplier that has the expertise of being part of a major memory manufacturer. We've worked closely with PC original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure that the RIMMs we sell will meet your system specifications.

Couldn't find any way to buy Ram from Crucial. Yeah, they scanned my computer, told me what I had, told me what I could install, but as far as showing me a price or something to sell.... Best price I've been able to find on a gig is 489.00 That's some expensive ####. :yikes:
