Ready for round 2.........

At the vet yesterday and just as i suspected........Vegas has torn the ligament in her other knee. Here we go with round 2 of surgery. It has been a year this month when we had the other one done. Dont know who is gonna cry more the first couple days after she is home, me or her. So dreading putting her through this again

Aww I am sorry to hear this ..Hope the healing process isn't that bad and she will be ok. You going to be able to be home with her some while she heals so she doesn't have to be alone and in pain and she will atleast have her mommy to comfort her?

I guess i am lucky and bruno has never hurt herself other than tearing her dewclaws out cause the breeder we got her from didn't get them removed properly when she was a few days old.

I will take a few days off from work to be home with her. Last time she would howl everytime i left the room. She recovered fairly quick last time...they doped her up pretty good. Just have to keep her and her buddy seperated for a little while. They play with each other constantly.

.... this is usually how it goes... 9 out of 10 dogs that tear/blow one ACL will have it happen to the other.

.. it will all be fine!!! if you need anything... lemme know!!!

Our last mastiff had both his knees done 9 months apart so i have been waiting for her other knee to go......surprised it took this long with the way she races around and plays with my daughters beagle. Hopefully her recovery this time will go as smooth as the last one.
