I'm a little late with these questions but does anyone know...

1. What the SUPP tax is that appeared in tax year 2004
2. What excuse the state gave for increasing their share more than 50% in tax year 2003
3. What is the CHCR on this year's tax bill

1. SUPP = support services

$0.16 per $100 of assessed value, but I'm not sure what it entails. I can't find it defined at http://www.co.saint-marys.md.us/countytreasurer/realproperty.asp.

3. CHCR = County Homestead Credit

Cap on how much they can increase your tax bill per year, usually 10% or less.
