Moving to Prince Frederick soon and I need to setup a trash pick up service. Any recommendations? I was paying $72 every three months in Charles county for twice a week pickup. Anything similar to that in Calvert?

I can't say enough nice things about Goode Company, they took over the company I had picking up my trash. Not only has my bill gone DOWN, but they take everything, they are on time, and they have an automatic message that calls and reminds me when there is a holiday and when the next pick up is. If I've had to call with a question or problem they are very nice and it was resolved quickly.
Don't know if they pick up in Calvert, I'm in St Marys.

We use Ace Hauling and they've been great. We pay $75 quarterly. They're out of Owings.

eh, Ill probably just use one of the local trash pick up companies instead. I dont really need or want a truck.

Thats a pretty good deal.
Calvert Trash Systems wants $150 a quarter plus the fee to get a can.
Bay Area disposal wants $38 a month for a 96 gallon can

$150 a quarter, holy crap that's insane unless they pick up twice a week. Ace only picks up once a week, which is fine with us. We use our own cans, I'm not sure what they charge to use theirs. They've also been very reasonable on dumpster prices. We're happy with their service, been with them about 3 years now. Least expensive and very reliable.

Went with Ace Hauling. Best price by far.
Ace Hauling was $25 a month and provide a 96 gallon can for free.
Bay Area was $38 a month if you use their 96 gallon can. $36 if you use your own.
Calvert Trash was $50 a month and a $10 one time fee for the can. Recycling was extra.

I have ace as well, awesome so far. it was great chatting with them too, really polite, told me lots of info and I believe there is a free month coupon in the lates valupak.
They even grabbed my can when I forgot to drag it down to the end of the driveway
