How the hell did this happen? In a year when most US businesses were shuttered down due to the virus. Somehow the legal and illegal immigrants were able to set a record on the amount of funds shipped across the border.

Money sent home by Mexican migrants rose 11.4% in 2020 to a new high despite the coronavirus pandemic, Mexico’s central bank reported Tuesday. BBVA bank said in an analysis report that this was the fifth straight year the remittances, as the money is know, set records.
