Red onions

Anyone else having issue's finding good red onions? For the past 2 months or so every red onion I have bought has been bad or partially rotten.I've been to every store around here yet they are all the same mushy and small .Also when you cut them open they are slimy.

I finally found some decent red onions at the California Food Lion.
