Matthew 6:5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

People and events come to mind when I read the Bible. I'm thinking, this morning, about the many people I listened too on WAVA radio. I've been watching an agenda play out.... that I know comes right from them.... their contributions to the political characters in DC is so evident.... it'll never wash away. Doing away with abortion on demand.... well that opens the market for a pill.... allowing big pharma to get their money back.
Next on the list... prayer in public schools. Now how is that going to put money in a politician's pocket? Will it allow players to take a knee?
Sure I know we have to speak out loud on the radio. Sure I get it... some people need radio religion... it's all they can fit in their lives..... but who chooses the prayer topic? Who chooses what words are uttered? Who decides what happens to the funding that comes in over a lawyer's [yep lawyer not preacher] petition?
Are we hearing the truth or what they are selling as the truth?
When you pray.... do you talk to your Father.... or just your benefactor?
Are you being kind?
