But honestly, they all suck. In the swamp environment of the last few decades people of integrity don't get far. That's why we call them "politicians" and not "representatives" or "leaders" (which is what they're supposed to be). You just have to vote for the guy who sucks the least I guess.

Manchin, Sinema, and likely many others are centrists (or moderates). Unfortunately beside those two Senators, everyone else appears to be too scared of the radical left of their party to stand up to them.

If Manchin and Sinema do have compatriots in the Democratic Party, that aren’t bat crap crazy, they have certainly been doing an excellent job of hiding. Even before the Jihad Squad.

Manchin and Sinema have grasped two things - one, they aren't so beholden to their political careers they can't afford to lose them -
but more importantly, they know if they have qualms about anything their party does, the NARROW MARGIN gives them power they never had before. What surprises me is they don't seem to typically hold out for concessions.

He put out a FB statement and is well aware that a large number of his constituents are unhappy with his vote. They're lighting him up not only on his official statement, but on every post he makes.
