Just looking to see if anyone might have an inside scoop on any 4 brdm rentals in the area for under $1400.00 per month. I might be moving soon and have been checking the classifieds. I haven't seen much. So if anyone has any info on one or any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Are you in Saint Inigoes - I forget. There's a For Rent sign on the side of the road on Route 5 around Waters Avenue - waterfront property. I couldn't catch the bedrooms or the price though. (not helpful at all Dixie)

Yeah I'm going to drive down that way tonight. It's down the street from my daughters friend. Supposedly belonged to an elderly person who has now gone into a nursing home. It's also supposed to be on the water. It's not really an urgent thing. The Bf and I have been batting around the idea of moving in together. We would need a minimum of four bedrooms we both are not in a lease so it's not a matter of when to consider a move but as to if we find a good deal.

I added both of our rental payments that we make now to get the overall figure but with saving on utilities & entertainment expenses etc, there is a bit a leaway. I wouls love to stay south of the base but my BF is working up the road now so it might be wise to look towards the Hollywood,Mechanicsvile areas.

I live in a tin box right now. My landlord has plans to put a three bedroom amish built home on a full basement on the land I'm on right now but since they dug the footers in Dec there has been no further progress. If the house ever gets completed there might be an option to rent it on the condition we can make another bedroom in the basement. I have a feeling it will a year or more before he will be done though.

Doesn't have two stone lions guarding the driveway with a white rolls in the back does it? (another thread and I'm just kidding) Housing is really getting uppity down our way now isn't it? I feel like I have to wear shoes just to walk to the mailbox now.

I've been over that way but never really considered it. I was just putting out a few feelers. Not any urgency here. Just considering moving in together is a big enough thing. I don't think it would hurt to maybe look at a few places to see if we find a place that will suit our joint needs.

Try calling O'Brian or Horton Realty companies to see what things are going for. I've rented from Horton for a few years and they're not bad at all (as landlords go), and O'Brian has a lovely little house for rent near me in the ranch club.

If nothing else, it'll help you gauge what's available.
