I would like to see Congress make it a permanent entity.
In a way I'm worried that once the dems get a bit more power they would just put their people in place to approve all the misspending, like they had set up for the last decades.
Well that is how it works, right? If they want their gravy train back all they have to do is gain the Senate, House, and White House.
Yes, and that is the issue, the republicans will not control them forever, hell, the mid terms may be a cross the republicans will not be able to carry.
Well they are certainly capable of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory, but things seem to be changing after the last 4 years of Dems (and decades for the media) lying and many are now discovering how evil they are. I'm somewhat optimistic as to it being an enduring change.

NEW: Karoline Leavitt confirms—DOGE is here to stay.

With Elon Musk stepping back, a reporter asked who would now lead the Department of Government Efficiency.
Leavitt made it clear: DOGE isn't going anywhere.
“The entire cabinet is involved and I spoke to the president about it this morning.”
“The entire cabinet understands the need to cut government waste, fraud and abuse, and each cabinet secretary at their respective agencies is committed to that.”
“That's why they were working hand in hand with Elon Musk and they'll continue to work with the respective DOGE employees who have onboarded as political appointees at all of these agencies.”
“So surely the mission of DOGE will continue, and many DOGE employees are now political appointees and employees of our government.”
“To the best of my knowledge, all of them intend to stay and continue this important work.”
When pressed on who would officially replace Musk as DOGE’s leader, she responded:
“The DOGE leaders are each and every member of the president's cabinet and the president himself, who is wholeheartedly committed to cutting waste, fraud and abuse from our government.”
According to Leavitt, Trump’s anti-waste crusade isn’t slowing down—it’s institutionalized.

I hope you're right. But I look at how incompetent and downright evil Governors and Mayors get re-elected and it makes me go
. Dismantling the lying fake news propaganda outlets would fix a lot of our uninformed voter problems.
If that bombshell is real it should be blasted across all media, but this is the only time I've seen it.
...and therein is the problem. As noted on some of the previous posts I'm concerned that the corruption, fraud and malfeasance will still be ignored and the MSM will continue to lie to the public. The MSM, in the last 6 months, has been exposed as a lying partisan media complex that is happy to do the Democrat's bidding.The fact that the press was being complicit in Biden's failure was extremely obvious. The MSM, just the other day, (was shown on Gutfeld on Thursday night if I remember correct) was yapping that no-one is reporting about Trumps health. After 4 years of ignoring Biden's they act like they are above reproach and how dare you ask us why we lied to you about Biden's failures. How the Republicans are able to overcome this issue is very concerning to me as I don't think they have enough of the right types in leadership to expose the Democrats and MSM and keep keep them exposed as to the true corruption they both commit.
I'd like to see a bunch of Republican Congresstards primaried and put good people in those seats. Ones who aren't compromised by the corruption. Some of these dinosaurs....yikes.
Heavy D will be done as GovFL and it's my hope he'll run for President in 2028. I'm sure some in the Trump administration, the obvious choice being JD Vance, will run but I think it's time for DeSantis to carry on the Trump policies. He's been a fantastic Governor and I think he'd make a great POTUS.
