Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)

Has anyone ever experienced their child having Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)? My 10-month-old has it and he is so sick. I am so worried.

Thanks in advance.

My son had it for 3 months undetected and by the time it was detected he was sent to childrens for a week. If they have caught it in the early stages he should be good.

Battled it with the youngest for the first year. You can email me cause I won't be on here too much for the next several hours.

My son was diagnosed with RSV when he was 3 months old. Used Xoprenex through the nebulizer 3X daily for about 10 days and he was fine. Scary listening to them cough and wheeze, I know. Well wishes to you and your child :)

My nephew had it when he was like 3 months old. He was in georgetown hospital for a week. Once he got out every other week he was back in there for 3 or 4 days at a time over the next couple months. He still seems sick (1.5 years old) with some sort of respiratory issue almost constantly. He is diagnosed with asthma and every time he is taken to the doctor they say he has Bronchiallitis. I think they should get a second oppinion but as an aunt you can only do so much.
