Restaurant/Bar Super Deals?

Hey,

I'm new to the Waldorf area. Are there any restaurants or bars that have good deals on cheap food or drinks? I came from a college town in North Carolina and I want to find my dollar tacos, 25 cent drafts and free chicken wings, here in MD.

I know that Chili’s does free wings and Bennigan's does half price appetizers; both during happy hour. I'm hoping to find some local non-chain establishments in Waldorf. I know they have to exsist--someone on this board has got to know! Thanks again.

Early evening in the food court at the mall! A few times around for the free sampls and your sure to be full. You should be able to go at least 3 times around before they figure out your the same person. :yay:

I work up in Bowie and the best deal going that I know of is up there at On the Border. 99 cents drafts and free wings and chips and salsa. Nothing really down in Waldorf that I've found that beats that.

That reminds me of the small town in Illinois I used to live in. Actually it was the down about 7 miles away because there was no bar in our town (population 700). They had the taco thing at one bar and the beer thing at another. It is a college town too.

I stopped at Pedro's once and had the poops all the way to Florida.

Good food and drinks, but...

Don Savino's in Waldrof has good food and drinks. Don't know about any "Cheapo" stuff like your talking about, but nice crowd. They are on ROute 301, Southbound side, about 1 or 2 miles from the county line. This is more of a "white collar" crowd.

Also, on Route 925 in Waldorf is a place called Babe's. Good food, good drinks, fun crowd. More Blue Collar. Prices reasonable. Again, I don't know about any "cheapo" stuff but try them out. Going North on 925 from the intersection of route 5, they will be about 2 miles up on the right. About 1/2 mile before you get to Acton Lane on your right. Guy that owns it used to be a cop and he has a great crowd, they like to play "bar keno." which is always fun.

Those are the only places I go up there except for the chain places like Chilis or Bennigans.
