As of 8 p.m. Monday, September 4, Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) has restored service to nearly all customer-members who were affected by Tropical Depression Ernesto.
SMECO expects remaining customer to have their power restored tonight. Those affected include one customer in Scientist Cliffs in Calvert County and 15 customers at 12 locations in St. Mary's County.
