Bah Humburg Broome Howard Inn

Don't bother going to Broome Howard Inn. We went there for dinner last night (XMAS eve). Terrible experience. Made reservations weeks ago, confirmed the several hours before our reservation and when we arrived they acted like they'd never heard of us. After making us wait 30 minutes to be seated, and seating several guests with later reservations than ours, they finally "found" a table for us.

Service went from bad to worse. No container to keep the bottle of wine we ordered chilled. Gave us hard bread after 45 minutes (which we ate because we were starving). Insisted my husband keep his wine glass even when he told them he was driving and wouldn't be having wine. No spoon for his soup. No coffee as he ordered. No water refills. Food was adequate at best and certainly not worth our spoiled Christmas eve.

VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. Highly do not recommend Broome Howard Inn. Next year we're going to save the $150 and eat at home.

I agree that The Broome Howard Inn is overated and overpriced! I have eatten there 3 times and was disappointed each time. The last time was this fall and I said "That's it" I won't be back!!!!
