Retracting my rant from today after reading

Mine just isn't a snuggle child so I really value the times he lets me love on him. Value the times he comes looking for snuggles even more.

Sweet. Now that mine are 20 and 17 1/2... I do miss the fact that I missed those "last times".

I'm going to print this article out for a couple new moms I know.

Chase is a lover for sure, if you can slow him down for a minute. I was up at 2 a.m. and down on the couch sleeping w/ him till time to get up this a.m. He's going through another stage or spell or whatever w/ the sleep since Monday.

Dammit! Now I'm :bawl: I used to sit on the edge of his bed with him on my lap, his arms and legs wrapped around me like a little koala bear, rocking him to sleep. He's 19 and he doesn't know it, but I still sometimes sneak into his room when he's asleep and kiss the top of his head. Just for old times' sake.

This article is so true. Little man is 3 1/2 and I love bedtime. We lay in his bed, read a book. He cuddles with me and keeps talking, trying to stop me from leaving his room. Then he grabs my face and kisses me about 20 times, saying "one more" every time. I tell my hubby how much I dread him growing up. Gotta appreciate every moment with him.....except the tantrum times, lol.
