Revelation 11 The Seventh Trumpet Sounds

15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”

16 And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.
18 The nations were angry,
and your wrath has come.

The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your people who revere your name,
both great and small—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.

I've read the commentaries. They seem to agree that the Seventh Trumpet includes the Bowl Judgments. They also agree that God has now allowed those wicked humans to run the earth no more. God is in control and it's time those wicked humans learned their place.

I love the beginning of Verse 18. You know how angry those who are not Christians can get whenever we try to worship our Lord. They puff themselves up like big bad bullies and threaten us with being accused of hatred. They say we are violating their rights.

I figure in the beginning of Verse 18, God is saying "I have had quite enough of your petty anger. Let me show you what the creator of heaven and earth can do!"

In the rest of Verse 18, God brings all his children home. Yep, that's what I figure it says. This is when God decides who is right and who is wrong. The right will live. The wrong will be totally destroyed.
