Revelation 11:15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:
“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”
“The kingdom of the world has become

In Genesis 3 we see the original sin. We see how Satan tried to undermine God. In that same chapter, God lays out His plan to have His own Son destroy Satan.
Going back to David Gusik's commentaries:
There is no doubt this is a prophecy of Jesus' ultimate defeat of Satan. God announced that Satan would wound the Messiah (you shall bruise His heel), but the Messiah would crush Satan with a mortal wound (He shall bruise your head).
The heel is the part within the serpent's reach. Jesus, in taking on humanity, brought Himself near to Satan's domain so Satan could strike Him.
This prophecy also gives the first hint of the virgin birth, declaring the Messiah - the Deliverer - would be the Seed of the Woman, but not of the man.

Now, here, in Revelation 11 that plan will come into it's conclusion.
Here's how the commentary explains it.
The seventh trumpet finally sounds
- The seventh seal brought forth a profound silence; the seventh trumpet initiates joy at the inevitable resolution
- The verb tense of have become indicates absolute certainty about Jesus' coming and reign, even before the fact is accomplished
- At the headquarters at a successful political campaign on election night, there is joy, even though it will be a while until their candidate is actually installed into office
I hate snakes.... when I see a snake, my reaction is always the same.... I yell then I devise a plan to kill it. I don't care if it's a snake that is "good" by some people's definition. To me... all snakes are snakes and immediately I devise a plan to kill it before it has the chance to hurt me. [Yep even a black snake can hurt me if it bites me].
Satan is a snake.... since the Garden of Eden, Satan has been messing with man.... now Jesus is going to do away with Satan.... Yay!
