Revelation 16:12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. 13 Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.
15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”
16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
Why does everything I read in Revelation seem to be tagged to something that is going on? The meetings in Brussels reminds me of kings meeting.The Euphrates will dry up. The enemy can come west on dry land. I've been told that's so China can invade Israel. I think that forecast is glossy.
Moses just keeps popping in my mind this morning. When Moses parted the sea.... well when God parted the sea for Moses' refugees... but when the sea was parted where did Moses and the Refugees go? Is this a metaphorical way of reversing the escape of Moses and the Refugees? Are we going to be drug back into slavery by the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet? Wait... we haven't identified any of them! Who are the dragon, the beast, and the false profit? Do I have to watch for a frog jumping out of their mouths or can I just identify the lies they are spewing.
Verse 14 talks about demonic spirits performing signs. That reminds me of propaganda. We're really good at making the impossible look real on film. We're really good at talking points and trigger words. If Superman turned bad guy, would we believe it? Would we allow ourselves to recognize it? "Sure" we say... but then we go to our separate religions and support our own party.... and if the religion or the party were to say Superman would never be a bad guy... we lap it up like sweet milk. Humans are gullible too!
Yep... this is about Armageddon.... Well according to the encyclopedia Britannica [which was the know-it=all go too when I was going to school], Armageddon is in Israel!
Iran is poking Israel right now. China and Russia are at odds with Israel too.
