Revelation 19:11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
king of kings and lord of lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”
19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

One of the stories that intrigue me and stays on my mind is in Exodus 16..... when God sent the quail for the people with Moses to eat.... because they got tired of Manna. I find so many ironic stories in the Bible. Here.... the birds are meat eaters..... who can rip open a human body.... and they are invited to dine on ignorant humans who sport the mark of the beast with such pride and ignorance. Ironic.....

Christ and his army are ready to fight in the final battle. An angel appears in the sun. He knows the result of the battle. Christ will defeat all the armies that come against him.
There will be many dead bodies on the ground. So, the angel calls out with a loud voice to the birds. He calls to the birds that fly high in the sky. These birds feed on meat. He calls them to come and eat. This is the great supper of God for the birds. It is called the supper of God because God provides the food.
The ranks of the enemy include all kinds of men. Among the dead persons, there will be kings, officers and their armies. The horses and those who rode them will be dead. The bodies will include free people and slaves. All of these will be food for the birds to eat.
John saw the two sides. They were preparing to fight. On one side was the beast (the Antichrist). The kings of the earth and their armies were with him. On the other side were Christ and his army.
This battle is the defeat of Antichrist by the real Christ. The Lord took hold of the beast (Antichrist) and the false prophet. He threw them alive into the lake of fire. A fire that burns with sulphur is extremely hot. And sulphur burns with an awful smell. This is a description of a terrible place of pain and trouble. Those who are there will always suffer.
This false prophet had power from the beast. The false prophet forced all who live on the earth to worship the beast. And the false prophet did great acts of power. He made fire come down out of heaven to earth. By these acts, he caused the people who lived on earth to believe lies. He ordered that all people must receive a mark. This mark was on their hands or on the front of their heads. Everyone, famous and unimportant people, rich and poor people, free people and slaves had to have the mark. That mark was the name of the beast or the number of that name.
The Word of God (Christ) defeated the armies of Antichrist. He killed all the soldiers with the sword of his mouth (that is, by his word). Their dead bodies lay on the ground as the angel had said. The birds came. And they ate as much of the dead bodies as they could.

John says nothing about a battle. This is an entirely one-sided affair, more of a simple act of judgment than an actual war. "The battle of Armageddon is the laughter of God against the climax of man's arrogance." (Barnhouse)
So.... Jesus will win..... and the birds will peck the eyes out of the skulls of the unbelievers. So Jesus will use the "terrible swift sword"..... It slices in both directions..... I have found.... a sharp sword slices without hurting. The sting doesn't occur until the blood has already started to flow. Those ignorant humans who took the sign of the beast on their forehead or their hand.... they will be bird food... fortunately.... they won't even feel a thing. I guess they have been through enough..... and they won't even know they have become bird food. Unlike the beast and the fake prophet.... they won't live forever in hell.... those who decide to take the mark of the beast.... will be bird food... dead.
