Revelation 19:6 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb: The announcement is made, “The marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.” Here Christ receives His kingdom, which is called “His Bride” (Revelation 21:9), and is symbolized by the New Jerusalem. Revelation 21:9-10.
She is clothed in “fine linen, clean and white.” The “fine linen” is the righteousness of Jesus which He gives to all who receive Him as Lord. The hosts of the redeemed are the citizens of His glorious kingdom. Thus “His Bride,” Christ’s Church and Kingdom is symbolically clothed in “the righteousness of the saints.”

To me... or should I say... In my opinion... all this talk about marriage in the middle of a war is just plain confusing.
When I read these verses, I envision Jesus and His Father standing together.... the solar system and the universe are going around Them like They're in some high school science project. I envision Jesus holding the earth. The earth, apparently, is being damaged by some kind of dark fungus or mold or something.... God has already washed it off.... but that didn't work. That dark whatever it is... is still hanging on. On top of that... the humans seem to be addicted to this dark whatever it is. When the humans become infected, they spread it to the other humans around them. They had already let it take it's course for a while. The intent was to allow the humans to rid the earth of that darkness. That didn't work so Jesus and God had to step in and completely refresh this earth project.
This time They have reshaped the earth... They blasted it with meteorites and meteors.... that let loose those other pesky bugs.... they even hit it with a torch.... They have thrown all kinds of things that would rid the earth of the dark whatever it is. They even chased down the humans that had been infected by the dark whatever it is. These humans would be the ones that decided to get the dragon stamp and follow anyone but Jesus.
So now... as I envision it.... Jesus and God have figured out how to contain the dark whatever it is while they gather up the last of the humans who were working so hard to get rid of the dark whatever it is. That way They can upgrade these humans and repopulate the earth once the dark whatever it is has been taken care of.
So how does this relate to the fine linen? Don't you think They would have dried the earth off.... dusted it off.... finished the project... got it ready to put those humans back on earth and start all over again?
How good would you feel if you could take an old chia pet.... clean it up... get every old sprig and seed off.... dry it with a towel and then set it up again for new seed and new growth.... It'd be like a fresh start.... like the beginning of a fine relationship.... The best relationship... virgin and new.... where something fresh can begin.
Way off base... but hey... now we have a "space force".... I wonder how John would have described that from the Isle of Patmos about 2,000 years ago when they thought the earth was flat.
