Revelation 6:5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”
I can remember when there were "gas wars" in Randallstown, MD. They weren't like the wars we fight now... over pipelines and shortages.... these wars were to get customers. Gas stations would give green stamps to get more customers. They gave out china... my grandmother had a whole set! But the best wars brought on the price drops.... when I was 16 the "gas wars" were about the cheapest price. I actually saw my boyfriend drive up to a pump when the gas was $.19 a gallon.... yep nineteen cents a gallon!
I can remember when people were all angry because the cost of a gallon of milk went over a buck.

I can remember when people were all angry because the cost of a loaf of bread when over a buck.

Yesterday.... I saw the price of gas go well over $4.00 at one station.

Do you think we are in "end times"?

Is "end times" just about the prices no one can afford any more?

Or... is "end times" just about the cost of security for the wealthiest man's shiny baubles?

For families.... it's the cost of a loaf of bread.
