Revelation 6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.
The news has been grim lately. Our society has gone back to giving us a death toll on the Evening News. We use to have COVID counts.... who got it and who died.... but now we're getting war counts. Ukrainians and Russians are being counted right now..... and we are seeing them laying in the streets. We use to watch the body bags being loaded into tractor trailers while they waited for burial... and now we are seeing the bodies on the street... waiting for body bags... which, come to think about it, must be getting scarce now.I know a few people have tilted their head back in agony saying "How much longer Lord???? "
I was talking to my neighbor the other day. She's Jewish... and proud of it. She says the reason the Jewish people don't believe Jesus is the Messiah.... is war. Why would God let this happen? Why would God cause the war that caused those babies to shelter in the basement hallway of the hospital while bombs fall all around them?
Well... this is why. We're all saying "How much longer Lord?".... and God's saying.... "Just a little longer.... you're not all here yet"
Hey... you.... the idiot who is holding all this up.... get wise... God is in control... not Putin or a government.... God.... and He's holding the door open for you for just a little while longer.... put down your pride and ask Him to "Let you in" so we can get on with Peace on Earth.
