First they bring in a ruler.... who turns out to be a conqueror. Then there is a horrible war. Then there is hunger. Even the animals are so hungry they start eating people. Then there are horrible plagues. A quarter of the earth's human population [1.8 billion people] dies. Then there is a horrible earthquake. People have to shelter in caves.
I think in modern day lingo they would be saying "Oh come on.... I can't take it any more....kill me now".
There were seven seals on that scroll that John saw in his vision. We're only at the sixth seal....
