Revelation 7:9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
10 And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:
“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”
13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”
14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore,
“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b]
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]”
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b]
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]”

In Isaiah 25:8 it says.... "he will remove his people’s disgrace "
White Robes from disgrace.... that's a long long reach.... but it's what will happen.
This is from the easy English site.... because someone with some education and training should have a say in what this is about.....
The 144 000 had received the mark of God. Then John looked and saw a vast crowd. This crowd stood in front of the throne. The crowd was as far as the eye could see. There were so many people that nobody could count them.
These people were from all over the world. They came from every nation. They were God’s people. At that time, they were in heaven.
By faith in Jesus Christ, these people had received new life. The Lord had made them perfect with his own goodness. He gave them white clothes to wear. These white clothes meant that they were holy. And they were free from sin.
They had palm branches in their hands. The people used to wave palm branches at their parties. They did this when they were happy. Here, they waved the palms in order to praise the Lamb.
These people have come out of the great trouble. The great trouble will be the period immediately before Jesus comes back to the earth. It will be an awful time. It will include the events of the seven seals. During this time, God will take these people from the earth.
These people trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ. They accepted all that Jesus had done for them. They knew that their sins had gone. Jesus took their sins from them when he died. The Bible often describes sin as if it is something dirty. Only the blood of a perfect sacrifice could make a person clean (holy). The death of Christ is the perfect sacrifice for sin. It was as if the blood of Christ had washed away the sins of these people. They had white clothes. They had the goodness of Jesus instead of their sin.
They served God day and night. Day and night are not as we understand them. There is no night in heaven. John used these words to mean that they did not stop their service for God.
There will be no more hunger. Neither will they need drink. Jesus promised this to those who came to him (John 6:35). He was not talking about what the body needs. But in heaven, God’s people will have all that they require.
The sun and the heat can be a problem on earth. There is nothing like that in heaven. God’s people will be at home there. They will live in total comfort. There, nothing will disturb them.
There's a song.... it starts "Heaven, I'm in Heaven.... and my heart beats so that I can hardly breath"...... it goes on about dancing cheek to cheek.... and not being able to speak because they are so happy...... it's not a hymn... just a song.... but it started buzzing in my brain this morning about the time I pasted the verses here.... so I figured I would drop it in here.
Disgrace seems to be the word of the day.... right behind Heaven of course.... but disgrace is the reason for the change of clothes. I've often wondered.... if we die in the hospital.... are we stuck in a hospital gown for all of eternity? Nope.... See.... the clothes we die in won't disgrace us in Heaven.... 'cause we will get a new white robe.... bet it will be made from the finest wool or even silk.... natural material.... and it will not itch or chafe...... the perfect outfit... and it will not make my butt look big.... at all.
White is the second word of the day.... right behind Heaven and disgrace..... white... pure... clean... washed....
Now look.... the color white is getting a lot of criticism lately. The "white race" is chanted to be supreme...... the color God adorned us with has nothing to do with our place in His Heaven. The "whitest person" on earth is still a filthy ignorant human. Jesus had to come to earth to clean them of their filth and ignorance..... how "perfect" is that?
Humans have disgraced themselves by being know-it-all, holier-than-thou, bible thumping, "I'm better than you" crap spreading. The human "I can do it myself" mentality leads to the "who needs God" disgrace. Once we allow Jesus to run the show.... then we become loving caring teachable children of God.
I have had three babies..... and every time I brought a new baby home from the hospital.... I changed their clothes.... first thing... I put them in a comfortable gown.... and I just loved smelling that new baby smell.... and feeling that new baby squishyness....... so wonderful..... so clean and fresh.... It was my way of welcoming them into the family.
Jesus is going to spiff us up..... We'll change our non-butt covering clothes for a fresh new white robe...... and a smile.... I know we will all be smiling..... no more hanging of the head because of something we did or said..... smiles....
White Robes.... more than just cloth sewn in places..... we won't be so full of ourselves any more..... we will be happy with what we have!
White Robes.... spiffy and clean.... sin free.... happy.... healthy.... "no more tears or fears"
