Revelation 8:1 When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.
Someone wants to know... "Are we in 'End Times'?".If a day to God is like a thousand years to humans.... how long is a half an hour?
So... Jesus is already busy opening the Seals.... as we read along.... and now He's at the Seventh Seal. Humans have already met a conqueror .... and they've already had their peace stolen from them. They've survived pandemic, famine, war, and wild animal attacks. The winds have been held back.... the weather has been put on hold by God..... and there has been an earthquake that moved mountains.... and people were smashed when the caves they sheltered in were bashed to pieces by the earthquake.
And now.... everything has gone silent on earth.
In Heaven.... an Angel has one of those golden censors they use in the Catholic Church so much. It's a gold incense burner..... but this one... it's a special one... it's in Heaven and it's full of all the prayers from the Believers below. The smoke in the incense is filled with the voices of all those prayers... and it twists and turns itself right up to God. Sweet incense and the prayers of Believers.
Then.... that same Angel.... took the same golden censor.... and filled it with hot coals from the altar..... and flung it at the earth.... Meteorite!
That Meteorite will hit the earth with such a fire filled force.... it will set off another earthquake!
So.... on earth there will be a horrific quake.... that will be so powerful it will reshape the earth's surface.... and then silence for half an hour in God's time [not ours] ..... and then a Meteorite and another Earthquake.
We haven't had the first earthquake yet!
If it isn't "End Times" and the four horsemen haven't let loose the conqueror, the loss of peace, pandemic, war, famine and wild animal attacks.... how bad could it get? Surely we are suffering through the wrath of the four horsemen..... the earth hasn't joined in yet.... we haven't had the first earth reshaping quake yet.
Relax..... talk to God about it..... Relax.... IMHO..... we haven't gotten to the rough stuff yet!
