I hadn't seen this movie in a while, so Bluejay and I decided to watch it last night on FMC, which I'm pretty sure stands for Fox Movie Channel. It's a "free" channel in the sense that TNT, USA, CNN and TBS are 'free' - they're available on any cable package at no extra charge. It's not a premium package.
Since I don't remember ever having watched this movie uncensored, I was at first surprised at the complete lack of censorship of the language - "f" word notwithstanding.
What really surprised me was the nudity. Heck this was only about 10pm. I didn't realize that "public" channels allowed that, that early in the evening.
Is there something I'm not aware of regarding cable? I was just very surprised. I've frequently mentioned that bleeping out language and editing scenes - especially for violence, as in recent showings of "Kill Bill" - ruins the point of the movie. I can't watch "Animal House" or "RoboCop" for example, on regular TV, because they take out what I think is necessary vulgarity, violence or language. I was just surprised to see this.
