And another damn video that I won't watch.

Can you at least give me a hint what it's about?

That a monopoly must play by different rules. As he says in the video, if a restaurant wants to charge him 5x the price of a meal because he's wearing a MAGA hat, he may do that, because a single restaurant is not a monopoly, but that if the electric company were to discriminate against you for your political beliefs, that is different.

Since these social media sources are essentially monopolies - even TV shows use "Google" as a verb meaning, look it up - they're monopolies and as such, may not do what they've been proven to do - discriminate against views they don't like.

Since these social media sources are essentially monopolies

Add some other thoughts ...

They control some 70% of the Advertising Revenue .... [online]
Many are starting to say the 'platforms' have become the digital equivalent of the Public Square

Twitter / Facebook / Google - YouTube: 'we' are a platform, we provide a service ..... but then they editorialize by censoring discussions or conversations

KKK is bad ... White Supremacists are EVIL we are not going to give them a platform to spread hate
[well something could be said for keeping an eye on what they are saying but OK I guess]

A Progressive had his twitter profile deleted because he tweeted the cover of his latest book about the Alt Right
- that featured a graphic with a KKK Hood in it.
