The surgery got bumped up (haha- pun) and I had it last Thusrday. I feel okay - sutures inside my nostrils and the part in between are sore and I'm a bit foggy still from the anesthesia and meds, but I've only taken tylenol extra strength since yesterday morning. A slight blackeye but I've had worse. I go back today for follow up and maybe external suture removal. The cast comes off Thursday. It already looks different now because I can see the end and underneath of my nose.
I just hope it's good enough to leave as is once it heals so I don't have to have a correction.
Cudos to Mr A. for being such a loving an attentive hubby and taking care of the 'kids' and me during my down time - not to mention being supportive to me getting this done.
