Just sneakin' around....
If you were to take all of the dough and toppings that comprise a pizza and tried to eat it all as separate items, you'd never make it.

But put all of it together and throw it in an oven... and all of sudden you can scarf down an entire pizza made up of all the stuff you couldn't possibly eat before it was combined.

Why?

Why is it so hard to drink three bottles of water in an hour but three beers go down easily in 30 minutes?
Well, technically and biologically, too much water dilutes the body's blood of its electrolytes too much in a short time so the body sends a signal that makes you not want to drink anymore. Beer on the other hand is made up of carbohydrates and alcohol and has vitamins like B6 and sodium, potassium, and magnesium which help to keep the body's electrolytes somewhat balanced, and the kidneys filter out the excess electrolytes faster than with just plain water. The body processes beer much like it does food, beer being liquid nutrition. Hence why you pee more when just drinking beer. And the excess energy by way of the carbohydrates are stored as fat reducing the amount of fluid needing filtering.
