Ride through Clinton...

Hi, had to go up 5 to beltway Sunday and just was scared out of my wits. I only travel this way sometimes from Waldorf but from SoMd Hosp. on it was four different sets of jerks trying to race each other. They would come up on you at least 90+ mph and whip around then in front of you. This happend four different times and my daughter was even scared in the back seat.
Guess how many cops I saw NONE! Is this route the usual race track for these (*^^((**^ ?

Racing??? Probably not, just everyone going somewhere in a hurry, most people run that stretch of road doing between 60-80. They used to run radar by Ed's plant world, I have not seen it there in a while.

Robbie, unfortunately you are correct about the racetrack. I commute from La Plata up 301/5 five days a week and this morning, I even saw dumptrucks exceeding 70 mph. You take your life in your hands driving in PG because drivers there rarely use turn signals and seem to think the road belongs to them and only them and police presence is scarce. Just be glad you don't have to do it every day.

I used to do it years ago when worked in Alexandria. Had all the lights through there and you couldn't go as fast. They were racing. In all instances it was those little cars like on fast and furious and the two were side by side trying to outrun each other. This was on Sunday which suprised me. I travel the beltway and other areas and this seems to happen on that stretch a lot. Maybe at different times.

I had to go up through that way on sunday to go to arrundel mills. Freaking people cant drive. And we got lost due to that fact that there isnt one sign in college park that labels the B/W parkway as 295. Yes i didnt know this i have driven up that way once and that was going to jessup for crazy rays. Well we finally get there, left at 12:30 got to medieval times at 4.

Even better on the way home im trying to merge in the right lane and some a$$ in a truck with a trailor decides im not going fast enough and cuts around me in a merging lane for a ramp and i almost miss it. Even better i get up on 5 and i let someguy in an explorer in well about 5 min later im doing about 75 and the car in front of me flys out of the lane i look up its about 8:30 now and this guy has no lights on and is stopped in the far right lane, same guy i let in. Well needless to say my girlfriend is freaking out cause i almost hit this guy and all he does is honk the horn. Who the hell stops in the middle of the road with people doing 70+ in the middle of the night with no lights on.

I know its not clinton but damn that drive sucked.
