Rider and Horse die at event

Ahhhh Florida!
These are the stories we try not to think of when doing a sport that we love so much. My heart goes out to their family.....how tragic. Horseback riding is dangerous, but so is driving a car.

that's giving me chills. she was only 21. i wonder what level eventing she was competing..

it says she was a british citizen that spends time in VA as well.

Check the COTH thread, family posted there w/ a link to her website. She competed at Badminton. What a tragedy!

I was telling my mom about the accident. She said that she just read an article from Troxel that said that riding had the second highest accidental fatalities of any sport. I wonder was the first?
