... yesterday evening, I pulled up next to a car at a stop light with a 50's something couple inside.
As soon as I stopped, I heard the distinctive "click" of the doors being locked. Haven't heard that in years.

I've had the opposite reaction. A girl purposely pulled up alongside me at a light today, rolled down her window and said, "great lookin bike." And no she wasn't trying to hit on me.

They can be. I'm finding more and more that folks born around the same time as me are a lot older than I am. Think it all depends on your life style. We have several buildings here behind Wildwood and it always amazes me that some folks will drive over to another building.
