Yeah the sand is great now....the round pen is out..I did that myself...footing is level and no rocks or weeds..see the pics...looks great...beautiful place to school now...and solid fence too...

Did you just build this ring? How did you do it? Take off the top soil, level and add sand?

Ring was done about 15 plus years ago...but I had a round pen in the center so I had banked sand..I had 5 dump truck loads of sand put in 15 plus years ago..I had quit using round up on it and grass had come in and the footing was kinda hard..I had the ground disterbed and roots un rooted and then drug the ring for smoothness..its an old ring..old footing...Happys son redid the rotten landscaping ties and replaced with treated 4 X 4s and also replaced the running boards where needed..
