Wouldn't it be great if they included users manuals with devices like this to tell a person how to use them?

There are ringtones included on the phone, cheesy ones like "springtime" and the boring old "ring, ring". Some of my friends were able to get real mp3's on their phones, so I'm trying to figure out how to do that. Anyway....I can take pictures with my phone, so that's a big :yay:.

I don't have a cell phone, but have you thought about doing a Google search? I just did and there are tons of sites offering free ringtones.

Now how you get them to your phone is something you will have to figure out.

Well I spent about an hour browsing through them, and many are anti-verizon, or it's a scam to join their $9.95/month membership. *sigh* I just want one ringtone....

Janey,

You need to use your phone to connect to the Internet and download whatever ringtone you want. Use the web button. They cost $2-$3 dollars each.

I don't give a crap about ringtones, they irritate me. I am just happy if my phone rings. :lmao:

yeah I saw that, the box came with this cd-rom and the "get it now" was on there....I'm just testing out the "free" options before I pay for anything else.....cell phone was pricey enough.

No shiat - but there is no way around it.

If you want a cute litte ring, you are gonna pay for it.

Some people in my office have various ringtones that are like nails on a chalk board.

BUT

I have very few pet peeves;

1. gravel trucks that fly down the road sending gravel flying everyone AND

2. ringing phones :ohwell:

Get it now tells you how much each tone is before you download it and I think I remember getting my first one free.

Janey......don't know of any free ringtones. I go to my provider and just find the one I like and then download via my phone.

Janey,

It really depends on the specific phone that you purchased. Some allow you to upload .MID or .MP3 ringtones by using a USB cable and a free program called BitPIM. Others, such as my CDM9900, allow you to email the ringer to your phone and save it. Instructions are really phone specific. I found out everything I needed to know including finding some ringers from this site: Howard Forums . Also look for a Yahoo newsgroup specifically geared toward your phone.

Hope this helps. :peace:
