Roads under water

Land of the lost
Calvert scanner is reporting many trees down calls, many roads under water.

PSA: do NOT try and drive across a flooded section of road, as little as six inches of water can stop a car!

why so serious
It's pretty bad. Driving down Tomahawk I felt like moses parting the red sea. Didn't realize it was as bad as it was until I was in it.

YEAH, YEAH, IT'S JUST RAIN BUT MY CAR DON'T TREAD WATER.

Left the house at 0700 this morning, for some reason thinking, Route 5 can't be anything more than wet. So, I head out and get to the 249 intrsection where there sits an S.H.A. truck with an arrow pointing LEFT. I follow the car in front of me; turning RIGHT. Maybe HE/SHE knows something I don't. We get to the church and have to turn around in the parking lot because Indian Bridge/Flat Iron intersection is under water. SRITT!!!
So, we turn around and I take Fairgrounds Road to St. Andrew's Church Road and head to work THAT way. Got in the EMPTY office bldg. at 0930. So, I'll hang out til around 1230, then I'm goin' home.
Too little, too late NOW, but I'm gonna check the gutters.

Currently St. Mary's County is under a FLOOD WARNING until 10:00 am. This is due to flooding conditions throughout the county. The following roadways were confirmed closed by State Highways and below are a list of problem areas reported by the Emergency Communications Center.

Rt. 5 and Flat Iron/Indian Bridge entire intersection flooded-CLOSED Rt. 5 and Rt. 246- CLOSED Rt. 244 (Medley's Neck) at Our Lady's Church-CLOSED Rt. 243 (Newtowne Neck Rd.) near Rt. 5-CLOSED Rt. 238 (Manor Rd.) to Rt. 234 End-CLOSED

High water on 235 just south of Pax River at Mark's Automotive-impassable Rt. 249 in Drayden is flooded-impassable Rt. 243 and Bayside Rd. flooded-impassable Rt. 5 and Willows Rd. flooded-impassable

The weather system has passed and the waters should begin to subside, however at this time flooding conditions are widespread and problematic.

A swift water rescue is occuring in the Great Mills area and the St. Mary's Dam is at an extemely high level and the Dam is operating at Emergency Phase 2 with current water levels at 67 feet. At 70 feet some evacuations may be necessary as a precautionary procedure per the Emergency Plan. The Department of Natural Resources Park Rangers and Emergency Management are monitoring the situation actively.

I've been telling people that this information is incorrect. Is there a Mark's Automotive in Drayden that I don't know about? Because the only Mark's Automotive I'm familiar with is very near gate 2, and no where near Drayden.

I think the dashes indicate separate incidents
