Well I haven't looked at the official count yet but there sure were a load of bikes there. It was organized chaos. Not as bad as some of the horror stories I've heard. I road past only one bike tangle. Heard 2 sets of sirens (don't know if they were for the ride or elsewhere in DC. The crowd was impressive, both riders and spectators. I'm glad I went, put a lump in my throat more than once. I got to ride with a good bunch of people. We ended up getting split up a bit but that was to be expected. I would consider doing it again.


It really wasn't a rolling blunder.
