Roman shades - how difficult can it be?

BadGirl

I am so very blessed
I"m looking for roman shades that are lined, the front romans are room darkening and the back romans are light-filtering sheers that can be used independently of one another or used together. I've had no problems in finding the shades I want, but the size and price is what puzzles me. I want this blind to be 40 x 40 for over my kitchen sink. Most blinds fit width-wide, but the length is 64". That's a crap-load of extra material that I don't need, and I doubt that I'd be able to tailor them myself where they'd still look nice. And the cost to special order the roman blinds is staggering (or at least more than I want to pay). I've searched Overstock.com, the JCPenney site, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and a few others but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. Does anybody have knowlege on how to get what I want at a reasonable cost? Oh yeah....I'd love for the color to be a dark burgundy or a merlot color, but would settle for a linen color, too.

Thanks in advance!

I don't have the information you need, but I think that's what we have in our kitchen. We got them at Lowe's and they don't have them anymore and we want them for the living room. Where did you find them? :flowers:

Try here BadGirl; http://www.brylanehome.com/Search/SearchResults.aspx?SearchHeader=roman+shades

I am not sure that they will have your size but even if you can get anything then 64" it would be better. Without specail ordering the exact size not sure if you will find them; JMO. Good Luck!

By the way, the samples are GREAT! The baby stuff works wonderfully. I'm going to have to order more from your contact.
I'm sure it's outrageously expensive, like every other Arbonne product
