Our hotel was just off the left of this photo. We could stand at the front entrance and look directly at the entrance of the Vatican Museum.

Nice. Got any more good ones?

Ummm...I took around 700 shots, so there are a few more good ones. Nice not having to worry about "wasting" film anymore.

This is a shot looking down on the cathedral in Florence from the long steps leading up to a plaza that overlooks the entire town.

The arched ceiling in St. John's basilica. This is the official church of the pope and predates the Vatican and St. Peter's by a couple of centuries.

Looks like nice weather too.

Welcome to the new millennium! :buddies:

It rained about half the time and on our day trip to Florence it was very cold and windy. People that went up the following day got to experience an Italina snow storm.

Very nice looks like it was a good trip!

F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. We are ready to go back. There is now way to absorb all of the history and information in 8 days. You could spend an entire month in the Vatican Museum and barely scratch the surface of all there is to see and learn.
