Does anyone know why Route 2 North was shut down this morning? Cars had to detour onto Old Solomons Island Rd. There were a lot of cop cars parked out on Rt. 2, but I didn't see an accident.

Near Route 2 and what? Route 260? Route 258? Route 214? Route 424? North of Annapolis area? near Baltimore?

There was an accident this morning on Rt 2 near 260 that they closed down the road for a while. One of my co-workers lives right near where it happened.

Not sure of any details, he managed to divert through Mt. Harmony Rd to Rt 4.

It was close to 260, I believe. It was just a few miles up from where you catch it at Route 4.

on mojo show they said accident reconstruction rt 2 north of somewhere and it would be shut down all morning

It was shut down for almost six hours. Accident investigation, fatality involved.
