Route five?

I heard that a rode on route five collapses today from all the rain..well atleast there is a hole in the road. Some lady at work mentioned it and wouldn't stop talking about it

I heard that also, and they showed the flooding at the college on the news, but never mentioned the sinkhole on Rt. 5. I was curious as to where it was and I guess nothing exciting happened like it sucked up anything or God forbid a forum member. :gasp:

Its would be a tragedy, and if there was any morbid details of injuries, it mights make me throw up a little in my mouth and I’d have to chock it back.

Leonardtown, (near the hospital/McKay's area) is where a whole bunch of trucks were fixing something today.

Sink Hole Opens on Highway as Rain Dumps on Region ... in big letters... followed by...

"State Police report that when a trooper responded to the report, he found no sink hole, making the call either a false report or the hole is in a different place, which ought to get some further notice. "

Reported on the scanner as a SINK HOLE!!! They were working on a pot hole in front of Mattingly's around lunch time. Not a sink hole. Not news. Not a big deal.

Mattingly's, McKays...whatever. It had to be a sinkhole because it doesn't take more than one truck to fix a pothole unless you're in St Mary's Co.

Mattingly's, McKays...whatever. It had to be a sinkhole because it doesn't take more than one truck to fix a pothole unless you're in St Mary's Co.

Of course it takes a bunch of trucks, one to fix it and the other guys to stand around and say "yep, dat right dar is one of dem potholes," and of couse another guy to roll up later and say "welp, musta been all dat rain."

I rode my bike on that ROAD and didn't see anything..
