Anybody have any experiences (good, bad) with Royal Auto Glass in LexingtonPark?

My windshield needs to be replaced and I just called there and they're having a sale... not sure if they're reputable though?

My husband and I both worked there years ago. And we still get our windshields replaced by Royal. No problems. The have locations through out MD and I think one in VA.

I had a windshield replaced in my van when I owned it. They got that black adhesive crap all over the upholstery, then it leaked into my stero, which I had to replace.

What?!
They replaced my windshield in my jeep back a few years ago. It leaked horribly. Used them again a few months ago (cheapest place around) and no problems

I've heard some not so great things about the Waldorf location also but haven't heard anything about the LP location. We went there a few months ago and although the customer service left a lot to be desired, we've been happy with the work so far.

We had been at a fence company near by and while loading split rails into the back of the pickup truck, one of the employees broke the rear window. They sent us there and paid for the replacement so I don't know how their pricing compares to other glass companies. I've always used Safelite, that's who a lot of the insurance companies recommend as well.

Unfortunately, I think it depends on the tech who does the installation. And I have found that most auto repair places are like that. In Waldorf, ask for Gerald to do the work. In Lexington Park, tell them you want Willie to do the work. I know these guys and they both have YEARS of experience. Good luck.

I had my windshield replaced a few months ago at the Waldorf location and the service was good. Absolutely no problems. I would recommend them.
