Royal Farms Gas

It looks like Royal Farms gas in Lexington Park is going to remain higher than WaWa. I have been checking it for the last couple of weeks. They cointinue to be about 8 cents higher. What is really interesting is that it looks like the same truck delviers the gas to both locations. But, I think most people go there for the chicken. Then drive to WaWa for the gas.

I don't get up to that end of town very often anymore. Anyone catch the price of the non-Ethanol gas at Royal Farms?

From what I understand trucks can have several different compartments inside of them, they could all contain different gas blends for different stations.

Buy all my gas either from BJs or Harris Teeter gas station.

Lowest ever was $0.689 but that was a long time ago.

In the last couple months, it was $2.199 per gallon for gas at Harris Teeter.

Last time I looked, diesel in Callaway was still $3.79. There's a place on US17 in Falmouth that had diesel for $3.15.

Today, RoFo is around $2.80 along with the one at Hermanville Rd. The rest are at $3.19. They shot up 30 cents yesterday. Why?

$0.339/gallon for high test.
I was in California in the summer of 1972 and my cousin was selling regular at $0.199/gallon during a gas war at his Atlantic Richfield station.

Places like Royal Farms, WaWa and Sheetz use gas a break even or even loss leader, well damn near everyone does, to get people to stop and get beer, chips, sandwiches, whatever. They'll drop their prices down close to what everyone else has at some point.
