Rt. 5 closed at 488 southbound

Anyone know why rt 5 is shut down?

Someone on FB said it was motorcycle accidents in front of Bryantown store. They didn't have any details.

Southbound Rt 5 just south of 488 at the swamp. Bunch of crotch rocket riders. Must have past it just after it happened, couldn't see anything.

1 hour 45 minuties to get from 488 to Leonardtown

ALL traffic diverted onto 488 towards Laplata. Bumper to bumper! Finally turned off near Laplata HS. Came out near Clark's Run. Bumper to bumper again. Finally turned off onto Newtowne/Bel Alton Rd to 234. Never knew there were so many back roads between Charles & St. Mary's.

Ya I was going NB there were about 30 bikes sitting there. Looked bad.

One single rocket into the guardrail, doesnt look to good for the guy. MSP did reconstruction.
